About Sit!
I created Sit! thinking I’d be photographing just dogs, but increasingly people have asked to be in the photo as well, which makes perfect sense, and a great portrait.
Sit! allows me to bring the same creativity, techniques, and attention to detail to my portraits of dogs and their owners, that I have applied to capturing human subjects throughout my career.
Sit! is the perfect way for dog lovers to celebrate their best friends with an extraordinary and beautiful portrait.
About me
For over 3 decades I have worked around the world as a portrait photographer, shooting sporting superstars, Apollo astronauts, actors, musicians and politicians, but I am probably best known for my work with the Royal Family. I was honoured to be chosen to capture some of the most important events in the late Queen’s life, including the historic, and first ever, photograph of a reigning Monarch with three generations of heirs for her 90th birthday celebrations, the official Jubilee portrait at Windsor castle and the last ever official portrait of the smiling Queen, which was released by the Palace on the occasion of Her State Funeral.
No matter if it’s dogs or humans, every time I pick up my camera it’s my aim to create something worthy of hanging on a gallery wall.
